Disturbed Beautifully Performs Rendition Of “The Sound Of Silence”

Get ready, because this version is none like you’ve ever heard before. Sung by David Draiman, the lead man of the heavy metal group Disturbed – this 60’s classic, “Sound Of Silence” is definitely taken up a notch (in a great way!). Watch as the band performs it on the Conan O’Brien Show.

Most of have heard “The Sound of Silence” time and time again. It was one of Simon and Garfunkel’s most popular hits of the early 1960’s, and will forever be cherished as an incredible tune. For this reason, it’s no surprise that the band Disturbed chose to recreate the song on their album “Immortalized.” While a heavy metal group singing a folk classic may not seem to go hand in hand – as it turns out, they certainly do!
