Husband Pulls Plug On Dying Wife In Coma, Then She Whispers, ‘I’m A Fighter’

It was every family’s worst nightmare. Steven Pellettiere-Swapp found his Mother, Lyndee, unconscious one day. Lyndee would then go into a coma for 12 agonizing days before doctors suggested to the family to pull the plug.

This is the painful decision no family ever wants to make, and it wa done to honor Lyndee’s wishes of being an organ donor. Together, Lyndee’s husband, and their children, made the painful decision to take her off life support.

One by one, each family member said their final goodbyes. Shockingly, Lyndee says she remembers it all, and even remembers doctors preparing her family for what would happen.

That’s when her husband kept whispering something to her. “I need you to fight,” he told her. “I need you to fight.” Imagine Lyndee’s horror: she couldn’t move, she couldn’t respond, she couldn’t communicate. But like her husband requested, she fought. She REFUSED to give up.

“I’m a fighter,” Lyndee managed to say. The family was SHOCKED! Just as they were ready to say goodbye to their loving Mother, just moments after the plug had been pulled, there she was wide eyed and alive, alert, a survivor.

Lyndee made a steady recovery and now tell the tales about how her her family’s words revived her.

“Just because you are not conscious does not mean you cannot hear,” she told CBS 5 Arizona. “So you should talk to your loved ones if you are in that situation. They hear you.”
