On the first season of The Voice Kids Philippines, eight-year-old Nathan Bautista chose “Don’t Stop Believing” for his audition, and his performance is perfect. He’s only a few words into the song before all the judge hurry to hit their button, and turn around to whose voice is blowing their minds.
Nathan went on to choose Bamboo Mañalac as his coach, and went on to do do fairly well in the competition. He made it through “The Battles” section, but during the “Sing-Off” portion was eliminated. But this wasn’t the end for him.
After his appearance on the show, he made an appearance on Promil Pre-school i-Shine Talent Camp during its second season. During that competition, he was awarded Best Talent in Singing and went on to become a runners-up.
Though he didn’t make it all the way on The Voice, it was only last year that the show aired; hopefully he’ll yet be able to find somewhere for his amazing talent to shine. Check out the awesome audition that had all of the judges beaming.
