He Starts With Raw Rice. Almost No Prep Time And 4 Ingredients Later: Dinner Paradise!

Too often, recipes that claim to be “foolproof” end up being difficult to perfect, leaving you in a pile of wasted ingredients questioning your intelligence. In the video below, however, Nicko of Nicko’s Kitchen presents the ultimate dinnertime solution with one of the “easiest and quickest” recipes we’ve encountered. One bite and you’ll be hooked.
One of the most appealing aspects of this chicken casserole is how little preparation and cleanup is actually required. Since you’re cooking the rice and chicken together in the same casserole dish, cooking them is as easy as pouring the ingredients in a single dish and popping them in the oven. As for cleanup, you just have that one dish to worry about.
While there are different approaches you can take — Campbell’srecommends using Cream of Mushroom soup instead and Allrecipes user katiefbenham swears by her grandmother’s generous use of butter — here’s what you’ll need for Nicko’s version:
2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 cup of white rice, uncooked
1 can of Cream of Celery soup
1 packet of French Onion packet soup mix
2 onions, roughly chopped
Water
Salt and pepper to taste

To begin, pour your uncooked rice in your casserole dish, taking time to spread it up to the edges.

Once it’s done, you’ll be marveling at a flavorful casserole that looks like you put in way more effort than you actually did. No more flailing about in the kitchen, only to have a disappointment emerge from the oven!
